I studied Scientific and Natural History Illustration for my BA and during my three years we were taught how to very carefully and sympathetically render eco-systems, animal specimens, dissections and human biological mechanisms in such a way as to explain and show the functions. During my studies I worked for the Royal College of Surgeons illustrating pathological specimens and completed a course in forensic facial reconstruction at Cambridge university.
